Ancelotti’s unique achievement

It must be said that this coach is the first in history to win all the top 5 championships in history. Neither Gvaridila nor Klopp have managed to do so so far. So it really is a unique achievement.

A bit of history

Carlo won the Italian title for the first time with AC Milan in the 2003/2004 season. In general, the coach has led his team from 2001 to 2009, but in that time he has managed to win the league title only once, but he has also scored 2 Champions League victories.

It must also be said that the start of the season was one of the best, with 6 wins.

Biography of Carlo Ancelotti

Already in May 2011, Carlo stepped down as the head coach of the London club.

Winning the French league title with PSG in the 2012/2013 season. During his time at the Parisian club he only managed to win 1 trophy, but not that much time was spent at the head of the club either. PSG lost the first season to Montpellier, but rehabilitated themselves in the following season.  And the victory was more than convincing, as the nearest rival was 11 points behind. Although it cannot be said that the team felt very confident throughout the season, they still managed to win Ligue 1.

Already in May 2013 he also resigned from the Paris team, and a new stage in his career – Real Madrid. Carlo managed 2 seasons in Spain and won the Champions League there as well as the UEFA Super Cup, the Spanish Cup and the Supercup. But he failed to win La Liga.

And it was immediately clear that it was going to be a good season, as there were virtually no defeats, just 2 for the whole season. In other words, the opponents didn’t stand a chance.  But in a fairly short period of time, the Italian lost control of the team’s dressing room and resignation followed. Moreover, several players were actively talking about the sacking.

Winning the Spanish championship with Real Madrid in the 2021/2022 season. The return to the royal club brought results and already in the first season they managed to take the trophy and thus the complete collection.  This season, the team from Madrid is firmly entrenched in first place and secured victory already in the 34th round with a solid lead over their rivals. Especially strong was the end of the season, in the Champions League, Real Madrid managed to knock out the more powerful PSG squad and snatch victory from Manchester City in the final minutes and beat their rival, Josep Guardiola. And so Carlo Ancelotti became the first coach in history to win a trophy in the top-five European championships.
